Presentation Title

Data Engineering and Analytics - the Enabler for "Zero Defect" Automotive Semiconductor Manufacturing

Abstract

The automotive industry relies on automotive semiconductor devices to support the goals of zero emissions, zero congestion, and most importantly zero accidents. From an automotive semiconductor manufacturing perspective, that requires further innovations in our ability to immediately see slight anomalies and prevent a defect from reaching our customers. At NXP, we firmly believe data engineering and analytics are the next enablers for driving increasingly fewer defects in our complex automotive manufacturing processes. Through strong partnerships and in piloting innovative solutions, we have seen the power of these tools and the pathway to a revolutionary prioritized decision system that makes finding the slightest data signals simple and efficient for our engineering team.

All Roads lead to a Sustainable World

Abstract

Recently, extreme weather events due to global warming have become more frequent and severe, affecting our society and economy. Key to the success of SDG's are circular economy business models (effective use of limited resources of the earth).
In addition, we need to employ 3R-conscious product designing, recovery /recycle /sharing in supply chains, and longer operating lifespans of products/manufacturing facilities. I will present an introduction regarding water, which is essential for both electric power and semiconductor manufacturing, along with revised information from the SEMI S23 Energy Guide.
