Both Oral and Poster speakers are required to confirm your participation as a speaker by Friday, August 28, 2009. Your participation at AEC/APC Symposium Asia 2009 will not be confirmed until you click the confirmation button. In case that you need to communicate with us, for example changing the speaker etc, please send your message in the message column of the above site.

1-2. Abstract on the website

Accepted abstract will be posted to Website. If you agree to post you submitted abstract to AEC/APC Symposium Asia 2009 Website, please check the gagreeh box at this step.

2. Speaker Registration: Friday, August 28, 2009.

Both Oral and Poster speakers are required to register for the AEC/APC Symposium Asia 2009. Please register no later than August 28, 2009. The registration fee for speakers is the same price as an early-bird registration.

If speaker registration will not be done by August 28, 2009, it will be regarded as you decline the acceptance. The payment should be settled with Credit card. Should you have further assistance, please contact to secretariat.

3. Abstract in English Due*: Friday, September 25, 2009

Both Oral and Poster speakers who submitted Japanese abstract need to submit English abstract. Please send your English abstract no later than September 25, 2009.

4. Presentation and Posters Due: Thursday, October 15, 2009.

Final presentations (Oral session speakers) and posters (Poster session speakers) are needed to be created in Microsoft PowerPoint format in English.

4-1. Formatting Guideline

AEC/AEC Symposium doesnft provide any hardcopy of proceedings. Proceeding CD is available upon the registration. Please keep into your mind ensuring the legibility from the back of the room and make good contrast between background and text. Please remove confidential markings from any template that you use.

4-2. Presentation and Posters Submission Process

Final presentations (Oral session speakers) and posters (Poster session speakers) must be submitted using the online submission process.

Our online submission system accepts only 5MB. If your presentation size is over 5MB, please compress it into zip file.

If you do not receive an email acknowledgement after submitting your presentation, please contact to aecapc_2009@semiconportal.com

If not received by due date, your presentation or poster will not include in the symposium proceedings and you will be removed from the agenda. Please contact immediately if you think that you will have a problem with the submission deadline.

5. Publication Permission Form Due: Thursday, October 15, 2009.

Due to the distribution proceedings CD included submitted abstracts, final presentations from oral speakers, and posters from poster speakers, both Oral and Poster speakers are required to complete and return the Publication Permission Form. Please submit it same timing as presentations and posters submission.

If you think that you will have a problem with the submission deadline, please contact us immediately.

6. Reformatting Deadline: Monday, November 2, 2009.

For Oral session speakers, if you wish to make some changes or update your presentation, please submit it no later than November 2, 2009.

Please refrain to make further update or change your presentation since AEC/APC Symposium Asia 2009 will provide simultaneous interpretation service. It is very important for interpreters to hold exactly same hardcopy materials of your presentation. Your kind cooperation will be highly appreciated.

7. Special Remarks

All information presented at this symposium will be regarded as non-confidential. Presentations and posters may not contain Confidential or proprietary information. No material leveled confidential or proprietary will be presented or included in the proceedings.

Information for Oral presentation speakers
Official Language

The official language of AEC/APC Symposium Asia 2009 is English.

Simultaneous interpretation service between English and Japanese will be provided during the Tutorial session and the Technical Session.

Oral presentation speakers should make choice between English and Japanese for their presentation language.

Assigned speaking time

You will be given 25 minutes for your presentation. (20 minutes=presentation, 5 minutes=questions and answers)

Authorfs interview

Authorfs interview is scheduled either during coffee break or after the technical session in line with which section your presentation was. Oral presentation speakers are requested to standby at designated area in the lobby for technology information exchange with audience. One presentation board will be assigned to each speaker and secretariat will print out your presentation and exhibited them on the presentation board.

Proceedings CD-ROM

Submitted abstract and Presentation (PowerPoint) which submitted before October 15, 2009 will be included CD-ROM for distribution to the audience.

Information for Poster presentation speakers
Location

The poster session will be in the Conference Room, just across the AEC/APC Symposium Asia 2009 room.

Poster Board

The dimension of poster board is 900mm wide x 2100mm high. Considering the audience's view ability, poster presenters are requested to accommodate your poster 900mm wide x 1300mm high and you can use pushpins to hang your posters.
The Symposium will provide the poster board and pushpins in the room of Conference Room. Please bring a final printout of your poster presentation with you to the Symposium and remove it after the poster session. The Symposium doesnft hold any responsibility to keeping the posters.

Proceedings CD-ROM

Submitted abstract and poster presentation (PowerPoint) which submitted before October 15, 2009 will be included CD-ROM for distribution to the audience.

Poster Session Time Schedule

Poster Session will be held at the exactly same venue with Lunch buffet, coffee break and cocktail reception. It will provide interactive communication among the authors and audience.
